It's a string thing #163
String by Adele
Tangles:
Andante - Lily Moon
Cruffle - Sandy Hunter
Flukes - Zentangle original

This was a tough one and I did not know what to do with Andante so that the beauty of it can be justified. I am looking forward to see what Lily did with her tangle and this string. I thought that using Queries of Neil Burley would have been a better tangle with my indecision. I started tangling and tangled the first tile. Some tanglers already had their tiles on their blog together with other challenges and I've stolen from them the way they did Andante and therefore my second tile. Two really different approaches. The first one started to grow on me, because if you meet somebody very ugly and after seeing the person for a week, that person is not ugly anymore.

Diva Challenge #285
Challenge: 'Relax, bro"
The purpose of this challenge, is to bring as back to the roots of Zentangle where the experience is the outcome and not the tile as such,

For my tile, I've randomly selected a string - String 201 by Anette Plaga-Lodde, then I randomly selected 8 letters of the alphabet, since there are 8 spaces and then randomly selected tangles starting with those letters. I've left one out because it would not have fit so good in one of the smaller spaces AND then I tangled and shaded and enjoyed it. I therefore did have to worry about if the tangles will work well together. No competion for best of show, etc.

Tangles:
Intersection - Suzanne McNeill
Pax - Christine Reyes
Snookums - BJ Thompson
Funf - Denise Rudd
Xeni - Jacqueline Janssen
Xplode - Margaret McKerihan

AND Thanks all tanglers who send me a message regarding my question about shading a coloured background.

ING, Hollibaugh - Zentangle originals

It's a string thing #160
String by Adele
Tangles:
Shattuck and Fengle - both Zentangle originals
The black of my Fengle looks grainy because I've put salt in the wet watercolour, but it was too fine and the tile turned out a bit rough, but I liked the end result and decided to use it.
