Every week I have to remind myself that one of the "rules" of Zentangle is to enjoy what you do and not to compare it with other tangler's work, but it keeps on being difficult. There are so many talented people participating!

ReplyDeleteYou are so right about comparing our own work with other people's, i do it too. I'm getting better, though, at permitting myself not to always put mine last. Nowadays, I tell myself I'm lucky to be able to see all the work that is, in my eyes, so much better than mine, and learn from it. This is a case in point. It hadn't occurred to me to put these three patterns together, but they work so well. I hope you don't mind but I'm going to save it onto my Pinterest board for future reference.
